Alongside a manic turn from James McAvoy, Speak No Evil (a remake of a Danish original) brings the tense scares, but sidesteps much of the more ‘out there’ elements of its predecessor. 

Suitably zany, but remarkably overcrowded, Beetlejuice Beetlejuice is a good bit of late-80’s fun stuffed full with Netflix-level teenage angst.

A relatively self-contained biopic about a man who has taken on increasing relevance in the last few months, Hinckley: I Shot The President respectfully dives into the mistake of a lifetime for the titular shooter, while asking the question; what does forgiveness mean?

A uniquely romance mired amidst a relatively tightrope-walking depiction of domestic violence, It Ends With Us is, if anything, a star vehicle for the fantastic Blake Lively.

This hard-rocking, fist-pumping, cheese-filled actioner takes itself a little too seriously and a little too sciency to truly be great, but whenever Glen Powell is on screen, it feels like it has the energy to fight a twister with its bare knuckles.

A middling entry in an already middling franchise, more of the same isn’t always a bad thing. If you like Gru, and you like minions, you’ll like this repeat order.

The addition of new emotions is fun, but this sequel fails to capture the magic of the first. 

There’s not a rough edge in sight here, but despite its sheen, caricature character and polish, Bad Boys: Ride or Die still manages to capture enough of the magic to be a blast.
