The Phantom of the Open is a beautiful little gem of a movie that audiences everywhere should seek out.

Elvis is a thrill ride, but one anchored by a career-making performance from Austin Butler that sustains you through the twists, turns and gaudy showmanship of Baz Luhrman’s Hounddog scored fever dream.

Benediction is both admirably slow, deliberate, inquisitive and introspective, and also frustratingly so.

A charming, thrilling story, but Chris Evans is no Tim Allen.

Mothering Sunday is slow cinema. And while you will marvel at how the movie looks, it’s unlikely to really make you feel.
